All Computer Science students are invited — you don’t have to be a member of ACM. We would like you to join us for our Annual Spring Picnic. We will have subs, chicken, and Professor Roos’s famous Mac and Cheese. Please come and join your colleagues and professors!

ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) is the world’s oldest and largest educational and scientific computing society. Allegheny’s Chapter provides an outlet for discussions on technology and its uses today. Allegheny Programming Contest

Compete by yourself or in a team of two to solve programming problems using Java, C, or C++. The competition is setup so that there is a wide array of problems that can be answered by students who have any amount of programming experience (even beginners). Contestants will compete in different categories based on experienced so you don’t have to be an expert to walk away with a sweet prize.
Food and refreshments will be served during the eventThis is open to everyone! There will be a special category for students who have only had CS111.

The positions available are President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary. If you are interested in running for a position or have any questions, please email devinej@allegheny.edu. If you are not interested in running for a position please attend the elections to cast your vote and support your colleagues.

Positions Available
- President: responsible for organizing events and leading officers meetings

- Treasurer: liaison to ASG who is responsible for maintaining the budget and submitting reimbursement requests
- Secretary: takes minutes at officer meetings, sends email announcements about events, and creates flyers for events
